A day in the life of Miss Lily!

This what we do all.day.long! Outside (aka "souside, souside, peeeeeease!!!!!)...it's on the agenda at least 3 times a day, more if Lily had her way!

Another thing we do just about everyday...dress up! She wakes up in the morning saying "tut tut" (i.e. tutu and/or wings)

Today was a trip to the park for a picnic. We didn't plan to have a picnic, but....we passed a McDonalds on the way and this is how a conversation with a hilarious 16-month old went :)

Lily: "dat!" ("What's that?" as she pointed out the window from the backseat...keep in mind I had no clue what she was actually pointing at)

Me: "It's McDonald's"

Lily: "eieio" (her version singing Old McDonald had A Farm...catch the link). "Eieio"..."EIEIO!!!!!!!!!" (now screaming at the top of her lungs).

Me: "Do you want McDonalds for lunch?"

Lily: "EIEIO, peeeeeeeease" (She's had it maybe 3-4 times? I really don't think that she knows what it was, but it worked for picnic food!)

she was just about to sneeze hence the silly face, but hey, eye contact while at the park is a rare find with this kid ;) As we were eating our EIEIO food (as renamed by said toddler) a mama duck and 12 ducklings (awwwww!) came waddling down the sidewalk in front of us and jumped in the water 1 by 1. Lily went nuts screaming "quack quack, duuuuu!" (and again, if you don't speak toddler, that's "quack, quack, duck!")
